Are you a speech-language pathologist looking for a few flexible hours each week to provide individualized therapy sessions? Enhancing Communication, LLC is a small private practice that offers private pay, in-home and school-based speech therapy services to Toledo, Ohio and the surrounding cities. At Enhancing Communication, we strive to enhance the lives of our clients by addressing their speech and language needs to become the best versions of themselves. We provide client-centered services supported by current research and evidence-based practices to provide high quality speech and language therapy.
We are looking for a part-time independent contractor for a pediatric caseload with the primary diagnosis of Autism. We are seeking someone with availability for in-person (and potentially teletherapy) services in a local school during school hours. Therapy sessions would be scheduled during the school day between 9am and 2pm, consist of one-on-one speech therapy sessions, and have the potential of 4+ hours through a combination of in-person (currently 4 hours with the possibility of more) and teletherapy sessions (1 or more 30-minute sessions per week).
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence - CFs will not be considered at this time
- Current Ohio state licensure
- Current Pupil Services License
- Current Professional Liability Insurance
- Reliable transportation

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidenced-based therapy to Autistic pediatric clientele
- Conduct evaluations and write appropriate evaluation reports and treatment plans
- Maintain appropriate data and paperwork with daily notes, progress notes, and updated treatment plans as appropriate
- Communicate openly and honestly with clients and family members
