Are you seeking a role as a Mechanical Engineer within the Manufacturing Industry? Do you enjoy creating new products, product enhancements and solutions ?

 



LHH is partnering with our client in Fort Worth, TX in seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in the manufacturing and/or fabrication of metals (including steel).





Your role:




  • Utilization of AutoCAD to produce detailed production drawings and drawings for sales proposals

  • Explore the technical needs of customers to develop criteria for new or modified product designs

  • Regularly help to implement ideas to improve product quality, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction

  • Generation, maintenance, and improvement, of BOM’s in support of production designs

  • Simplify and standardize product designs and manufacturing processes

  • Work with customer service to propose and build products with special modifications

  • Maintenance of filing system for all engineering documentation



    • Your background:




  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Inventor

  • Experience in manufacturing and / or metal fabrication

  • Understanding and appreciation of Lean Manufacturing principles, 5-S, and TQM, FEA

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel
