Job Type: Full-time with Benefits
Job Location: Pittsfield, MA- this is not a work from home position
Hours: second shift (2-10pm/3-11pm) with some flexibility including covering other shifts required.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Remote Support Center, UCP's newest community living option! Remote Supports is a service model that combines technology and direct care to support the independence and safety of persons with developmental disabilities and other service needs. You will report to the Senior Clinical Director of AT as part of the UCP Assistive Technology Center (which offers AT Evaluations and Training around remote support systems and technology). The goal of this role is to ensure that our remote support meets the needs of our members and satisfies regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include:
Ensure the Remote Support Center is properly staffed, supervised and trained
Implement licensing and service requirements (i.e., confidentiality, reporting, responsiveness, staff training, and security.)
Work with Assistive Technology and DDS interdisciplinary staff to follow the AT evaluation and Support Plan as defined in the communication from the evaluation team.
Keep senior leadership informed in a timely manner of any concerns including product issues with the remote equipment.
Maintain the security of the program and its operations.
Enter and submit data into agency electronic record system for billing
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associates degree in a related field of study (such as human services or allied health services) preferred
Three years or more of experience in a human services, healthcare, assistive technology or remote support setting with one more more years in a supervisory capacity.
Quality assurance experience preferred
Comfortable with technology including remote applications
Ability and interest in continuing education that will support agency efforts to advance remote support alternatives.
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Attention to detail
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and succeed in a multi-tasking environment
Ability to handle stress in a professional and positive manner.
Ability to maintain composure in emergency situations.
Ability to travel occasionally to support members in their home environment, ensuring AT equipment is in proper working order.
Ability to work second and third shift hours as needed
