THE ROLE
The role of a Recruitment specialist is to generate, interview, onboard, and retain quality full time employees for programs across California. This role is essential to the successful implementation of the Elevo Learning programs in the districts we partner with. As a Recruitment specialist you have a passion for recruiting, developing relationships with key candidates and are able to build strong pipelines for opportunities within Elevo Learning. The responsibilities of the position are (but are not limited to):
- Managing open requisitions while maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates
- Utilizing our applicant tracking system to screen, assess, and interview candidates, while communicating with multiple departments regarding the status of open positions
- Actively maintain a working knowledge of multiple roles in sales and operations for primary candidates and the job requirements needed to fill those roles
- Conduct interviews via phone or virtually
- Qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews
- Serve as contact person for questions from candidates
- Use social media to source and recruit prospective candidates.
- Be a brand ambassador and provide an outstanding first contact to all candidates
- Partnering with management to develop job specifications, make salary recommendations, negotiate starting salary with management and candidate
- Maintaining open communication with team members and prospective candidates while delivering responses within 24-48 hours
- Other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, sourcing, sales or education
- Experience in customer service with the ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of management
- Attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills and confidence connecting with both Elevo staff, educational staff and applicants
- A clear and thorough understanding of a variety of positions and what it takes to be successful in each role
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a natural curiosity for solving problems
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work towards meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Thoroughly understand the organization s goals, mission, and plans
