Position Overview
The Autodesk Employee Communications team is on a mission to connect Autodeskers globally through authentic storytelling and engaging experiences that shape our culture, business, and world. We collaborate with leaders, stakeholders, and communications partners across the company to deliver data-driven content, compelling stories and immersive experiences that bring our company's strategic priorities to life.
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Manager of Employee Communications with a focus on enterprise communications to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive the vision, development, and execution of strategic communications for the Autodesk’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
Our team is looking for a strong leader who has a proven track record of building and executing global employee communications and leading and collaborating with a team of communicators to achieve innovative and strategic results. Additionally, you’ll work closely with the Director of Employee Communications to develop Autodesk’s internal voice, narrative, and holistic communications strategy.
Responsibilities
Oversee a team leading detailed communication strategies that support Autodesk’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives
Lead employee communication strategy (vision, framework, and roadmap) to drive awareness of Autodesk’s business, customer, and product goals
Oversee content strategy for Autodesk’s intranet home page and weekly newsletter
Proactively work with agency and business partners to publish engaging content
Collaborate with global cross functional teams to identify unique stories, build compelling communication campaigns, and encourage employee engagement across all our digital channels
Advise and influence senior management and provide thought leadership on internal communications practices, linking them to overall business strategy
Actively participate in and be seen as the enterprise employee communications thought leader to the extended communications cohort
Lead/oversee an internal “newsroom” to align on an enterprise narrative and content strategy across all audience groups (candidates, customers, and employees)
Design, develop and launch our internal, global, and accessible communication channel strategy in partnership with our digital technology team
Lead governance of company-wide channel distribution inclusive of email distribution lists and send authorization
Oversee the strategy and governance of Autodesk’s employee digital and visual production, event production and internal brand identity
Design, develop and launch key elements of our employee content strategy inclusive of internal voice/tone/audience personas and insights
Minimum Qualifications
You have 8+ years or equivalent experience in communications
You are a strategic and creative thinker comfortable debating and defending your ideas
A strong storyteller with the ability to create compelling narratives in support of business strategies
You can influence across functions, geographies and levels, and the ability to work with various stakeholders and teams to drive alignment and collaboration
You are an Innovative self-starter who can drive results both independently and in collaboration with others
You are a strong leader who is passionate about empowering and growing their team members
Have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a strategic mindset
Can effortlessly manage your workload, are flexible, proactive, work well under deadlines, and above all, have an optimistic spirit and “make it happen” attitude
