Responsibilities
The primary purpose of the Senior Customer Service Receptionist position is to register visitors for visitation and/or same day procedures by creating a visitor badge using the Visitor Management System; greet patients and visitors while providing friendly and prompt assistance when directing them to their destination as appropriate. Assists in the training of new staff, takes lead at the Information Desk and provide support in the supervisor’s absence to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least three (3) years of experience in a business, hospitality, or healthcare related field. Associate Degree plus at least one (1) year of experience in a business, hospitality or healthcare related field is preferred. Must have strong computer skills including data entry, website navigation and other software to perform daily operations; excellent communication abilities, including written and verbal communication. Ability to work in a team setting, display patience, empathy, and professionalism. Ability to organize and resolve multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and troubleshoot issues in a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Must possess good interpersonal skills, good conflict resolution skills, ability to multi-task, proper telephone etiquette, time management and attention to detail. May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Bilingual skills preferred.
