Billing Specialist

• Assume the responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to credibility


• Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies


• Issue and post bills, receipts, and invoices


• Check the validity of debit accounts


• Provide solutions to any relative problems of clients


• Assist with submitting Requests for Information (RFIs) to the client prior to invoicing


• Update spreadsheets to maintain accurate status to billing for multiple projects


• Work with Project Management staff to gather necessary project information prior to billing

Requirements

• Prior data entry experience required, a minimum of two years


• Experience processing billing on JD Edwards is strongly preferred


• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience required


• Must pass mandatory drug screening(s)


• Excellent computer skills are required


• Excellent written and oral communication; including spelling and grammar


• Knowledge of the construction industry is beneficial for this position.


• Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles
