Blend360 s rapidly expanding Data Engineering practice is seeking Data Engineering Managers who love building teams and pioneering technical solutions to solve our client s most complex business problems. Our environment is fun, fast-paced, and collaborative.

Working at the forefront of our business, our technologists drive major projects within BLEND360 using the latest programming languages and technologies to develop innovative data driven solutions. We are looking for self-starters, who enjoy motivating and teaching others best practices within data engineering.

Your role will be to play the lieutenant in charge of technical architecture operations day to day. This will require you to run point on creating a kick-ass backend architecture leveraging the latest and greatest in cloud technology to power transformative, data-driven products. The team will be depending on you to select the right technology for the job and provide a blueprint for implementing any given technology successfully. You should consider the business requirements, performance needs, cost and implementation complexity when designing your new architecture.

Your role will be primarily focused on design and blueprinting, but this is NOT a hands-off role. You will be expected to roll up your sleeves and dive into code to help us solve complex problems should the team not find an adequate resolution. We need an individual that can think outside the box and innovate to solve technical challenges that do not have simple, out of the box solutions.

Outside of architecting new frameworks, you will be responsible for helping the organization upskill for the upcoming needs in the world of big data analytics.

Strong experience with multiple cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)

Excellent Python programming capabilities

Good understanding of databases/warehouses

Previous experience deploying data products end to end

Data governance and security experience.

Previous experience architecting efficient processing frameworks.
