About the role

We are looking for a creative, hardworking, and passionate marketer who wants to have a long-lasting impact at a pre-IPO hyper-growth data and analytics company by helping to build out industry and solutions marketing. In this role, you will work closely with sales, marketing, and partner teams to develop compelling industry and solution content and drive go-to-market strategy and execution for key industries like financial services, healthcare, retail, high tech, and more. There is a massive untapped opportunity across these target markets, and it will be your job to capture it and help accelerate the adoption of Starburst products.

The ideal candidate is someone with a builder and learner mindset with product marketing and/or SaaS marketing experience at an enterprise software startup. A great solutions product marketing manager is someone who can drive successful business outcomes by engaging industry and use case specific content, bringing products to market, enabling sales, and activating the right marketing channels to amplify our message.

Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling messaging and content that amplifies Starbursts unique value proposition across targeted industries and solutions. This includes but not limited to: messaging guides, infographics, blogs, videos, and web content.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to enable, support, develop, and execute GTM strategies
  • Work with cross-functional marketing teams to develop and execute campaigns, events, and presentations based on your developed expertise
  • Enable internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with Sales Enablement, Demand Gen, Partner teams, and others to ensure consistent messaging across all channels
  • Become a trusted expert in our products and the ecosystems in which we play
  • Work with the Starburst partner ecosystem to develop and through partner industry marketing initiatives
  • Research trends across markets and customers from targeted industries to help inform content development and enablement

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of prior experience in B2B enterprise software (subscription and/or SaaS/Cloud), Product Marketing, Product Management, or Management Consulting experience preferred
  • Proactive, self-starter capable of independently running projects
  • Proven ability to up-level technical concepts to focus on business value alongside features/functions
  • Empathetic team member who can lead cross-functional teams and projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications but not required:

  • Prior industry and/or audience marketing experience
  • Experience in data platforms or analytics
  • Startup experience
  • Technical undergrad degree (eg, computer science, engineering, data science)
  • MBA or equivalent experience (eg, management consulting)
