- Ensure trades are processed on daily basis and clear trade capture related exceptions.
- Ensure trade discrepancies are resolved timely and accurately.
- Investigate escalated reconciliation breaks for trade capture, confirmations, and settlements.
- Work directly with clients and counterparties to ensure trade capture accuracy, to reconcile discrepancies and to answer client requests.
- Perform root cause analysis of common discrepancies between client and counterparty's instructions.
- Provide technical operations/industry knowledge to clients
- Work directly with technology partners on platform issues, enhancements and/or development projects.
- Contribute to internal project initiatives regarding new product development, testing and implementation.
- Work closely with the Client Implementations department to ensure all new clients' operation capabilities (setups, reorgs, conversions) are launched successfully and meet established timelines.
- Ensure OTC derivate procedures are up-to-date, complete and maintained across all client and internal processes.
- Bachelors degree in business/finance or related discipline
- Self-starter with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication / presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to build partnerships with operational and accounting associates.
- Middle/Back office experience covering trade processing, collateral, confirmations, settlements, cash, position and/or trade reconciliations
- Prior experience with Equity, Interest and Credit Derivatives and other OTC products a plus
- Working knowledge of corporate actions a plus
