The Judge Group is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer for a Global Manufacturing Group located in Sioux City, IA.
This person will report to the VP of Engineering and be responsible for project management from initiation to closure. Projects will primarily focus within operation, process engineering, capital projects, and process improvement. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in all stages of project management from project concept, design evaluations, contract/vendor selection, scheduling, budgeting/cost control, installs and training.
Additionally, we are needing:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred)
- At least 7 years Engineering within food or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Previous experience managing budgets for medium size projects ($10M-$30M)
- Heavy engineering design evaluation experience including hand-on AutoCAD experience (3D ideal)
- MES implementation
- Team development/training
- Hands-on leadership style
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- PMP certification is preferred
- MBA preferred
