Senior Design EngineerThe Challenge
Design, develop, and implement water delivery and ice making systems into appliances including freezers and refrigerators. Design ice making, ice storage, and ice level detection system components. Design electromechanical systems for new appliance products. Ensure parts and system components are read for production in factor. As part of a cross functional team, ensure that projects are timely executed. Communicate with global suppliers.What you will Do
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 7 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree related experience. The position also requires 7 years of experience with ice and water dispensing system, water valve, and tubing; 7 years of experience with appliance product design, reliability and evaluation; 7 years of experience with cross functional teams in appliance product design; and 7 years of experience with CAD design involving GD&T, DFM, and tolerance loop analysis.
