Full Job Description: Data Engineering MFT Platform & GoAnywhere Admin.

Roles & Responsibilities

• GoAnywhere Admin Experience Mandatory.
• Knowledge of SFTP, Axway SecureTransport, ServU, Bitwise & Move-IT.
• Knowledge of Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of DMZ Environment.
• Understanding of Azure & Must have Go Anywhere Admin Experience.
• Contributes significantly to the Managed File Transfer (MFT) strategy by identifying and developing platform improvement and process improvement opportunities.
• Monitor all automated file transfers for failures and resolve issues.
• Troubleshooting SFTP.
• Configures secure file transfer (SFTP) definitions to securely deliver files to intended destination
• Experience in defining, developing and delivering data transmission solutions(Enterprise level FTP and Fax products e.g. MoveIT, RightFax)
• Experience with MFT Platforms such as Go Anywhere MFT, Axway Secure Transport, MOVEit, Serv-U.
• Experience with creating MFT architectures.
• Experience with updating MFT platforms (application installation and configuration).
• Experience with maintenance tasks for MFT platforms.
• Experience with Trading Partner Onboarding and Migrations.
• Creating, updating, and modifying the SQL database, Managing the SQL database for all the manual and Automated Job setups.
• Experience with designing and implementing jobs and business processes within MFT systems.
• Experience with File transfer protocols such SFTP, SSH, FTP, FTPS and HTTPS.
• Experience with PGP encryption, SSH Keys, SSL Certificates.
• Work with various internal teams to onboard trading partners and maintain a secure environment.
• Hands on experience on Integrating file transfers with legacy platform like Mainframe.
• Maintain application deployed in an on premise environment.
• Knowledge of CRON jobs and windows task scheduler.
• Perform and verify system configuration changes as specified during after-hours maintenance.
• Track and document all outages and incidents which adversely impact the environment.
• Report them via problem tracking software and escalate to management based on severity.
• Identify delays or bottlenecks using proprietary and vendor tools and resolve or escalate.
• Flexible to work on Weekend shift, OnCall Schedule and manage escalations.
  

Qualification

• Ability to help debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.
• We support many different stakeholders. Experience in dealing with difficult situations and making decisions with a sense of urgency is needed.
• Strong knowledge on Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash.
• Experience with FTP tools like FileZilla, IPSwitch
• Knowledge of and experience working with Azure IaaS deployments.
• Proven experience providing customer support.
• Troubleshooting issues with internal and external customers.
• Manage services on Linux and Windows servers.
• Experience with Azure, particularly with load balancing.
• Experience with data translation/transformation and compression/encryption.
