What you’ll be doing as a Senior PNT Application Engineer:


We are looking for a PNT Applications Engineer to bring your unique skillset and capabilities to our rapidly growing team. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be an important contributor to sales activities by demonstrating the cutting-edge capabilities of our products while also providing valuable input to our R&D, Product Management, and Customer Support teams. What Success Looks Like:



  • Support our business goals by accelerating new sales and by supporting customer relationships through interactions with Customers, Sales Managers and Channel Partners

  • Provide technical pre-sales RFQ/RFP support, product demonstrations, internal and external product training, 2nd tier customer technical support, product requirements development and reviews, trade show support, and conference/webinar presentations

  • Support the Product Manager and engineering department by acting as the voice-of-the-customer in product design decisions regarding customer and application requirements, usability, and customer service

  • Consistent Collaboration with the US ADG Sales team to identify/close new opportunities

  • Understanding of technology trends, relative business impacts and opportunities

  • Comprehension of assigned market dynamics, including competitive landscape, to:

    • provide product input ideas to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering

    • identify ripe target markets/applications



  • Develop and enhance customer relationships such that Orolia is viewed as a partner to our customers

  • Ensure timely and accurate response to customer inquiries


 


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities We’re Looking For:



  • Technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

    • GPS, GNSS

    • Time and Frequency Servers/Systems (Orolia, Spectracom, Brandywine, Microchip, etc.)

    • PTP/NTP

    • Rest API

    • Accurate timing solutions (setup, install, debug, design, SW/HW, etc.)

    • Synchronization of remote devices to the ~nanosecond level (White Rabbit, Etc.)

    • Performance and/or vulnerability testing of PNT systems

    • Controlled Radiation Pattern Antennas (CRPA)

    • Phase Coherent Radio Frequency (RF) Systems

    • Signals of Opportunity (SoOP)

    • Navigation Kalman Filters

    • GPS, GNSS Simulators (Talen-X, Orolia, Spirent, Lab Sat, CAST, IFEN, etc.)



  • Interpersonal skills to develop relationships with customers and partners

  • Team player with excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Self-starter, confident, committed, and enthusiastic

  • Ability to take initiative, multi-task and prioritize

  • Ability to proficiently use MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Experience with Python or other computer program languages

  • Ability to connect with team members who are in different locations




Requirements:



  • 5 years of experience

  • BS Degree in a Technical or Engineering discipline

  • Previous work experience in Sales, Pre-Sales, R&D or customer support of technical products

  • Experience with Position, Navigation, Timing and/or Simulation products

  • Prior experience working with Aerospace, Defense, and Government customers

  • A DOD Security clearance or eligibility for clearance

  • Position is based in US, occasional travel (up to 50%) to visit customers, channel partners, various company locations and attend trade shows
