The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) encourages applications for the position of Director of Communications. The CCC Office is located in Corvallis, Oregon. As one of the premier athletics conferences in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) with 22 member institutions, (12 full, 10 associate), the CCC serves over 3,000 student athletes and conducts conference championships in 15 sports.

Administrative Responsibilities:

•Serve as Director of Communications.

•Focus on the day-to-day operations of athletics communications and serve as the primary media contact.

•Manage social media presence for the conference carrying out publicity on platforms

•Create, lead and execute original written and visual content for the conference web site and digital media

•Assist head statistician with processes related to conference preseason polls, and annual awards

•Maintain website in assigned areas

•Manage the conference digital network, new media, and video initiatives

•Manage Player of the Week process and submission to national office

•Assist with championship (conference and national) administration with development of championship logo’s, programs and tournament banquet presentations

•Attend assigned CCC championship events and NAIA events hosted by the CCC

•Serve as the liaison from the Commissioner’s Office in support of select conference advisory groups, as assigned

•Assist the Commissioner in other strategic initiatives, projects, and reporting, as assigned.

      •  Bachelor’s degree required in communications or related field
      • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in an organized and efficient manner required.
      • Experience with appropriate software for writing, web design, video editing, photography, creative design and statistical record keeping.
      • Broad understanding of/and interest in numerous sports
      • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills in both oral and written form required.
      • Travel, evening, and weekend hours required throughout the year.
      • Desire for successful applicant to live within footprint of full member institutions (Oregon, Washington, Idaho)
      • Successful applicant must complete background check
