Medical Office Specialist

Mid-Valley Gastroenterology is currently recruiting for a Medical Office Specialist for a busy medical specialty practice. This position requires excellent customer service skills (both external and internal customers). Duties include face-to-face customer service, checking patients in, assisting with paperwork, collecting copays, scheduling, multi-line phones, familiarity with electronic practice management software and Electronic Medical Records, accurate message taking, problem solving and multitasking. This position requires the ability to communicate well and work as a team with patients, referring practitioner offices, co-workers and community.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment independently or as part of a team.
