Description

SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Manages data analysis, usage requirements, data governace with a focus on analytic and integration-intensive initiatives. Primary responsibilities include working with understanding data use, analysis and integration requirements and guiding solution design and architecture to meet these needs,including prototyping. visualizations, quality assurance and ongoing data quality. This role will be a specialized role focused on supporting leaders and data practitioner staff with insights, management reports, and analysis for decision-making process & training driving data literacy and data governance. The role could be aligned with a domain, department or the Enterprise program. This role will focus on Artificial Intelligance and machine learning use cases and governance.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

•Business Analysis
Mastery in business and analytic requirements elicitation and documentation processes to capture business and end user needs for moderate to high complexity projects. Work with business partners to understand requirements for data use, analysis, and quality. Execute testing/quality assurance and document testing outcomes for Enterprise Data Services projects. Develop deep understanding of business theories, concepts, principles and techniques of 2-5 business areas to identify opportunities for process improvement. Demonstrate advanced knowledge through the ability to resolve complex issues. Responsible for business process designs, user guides, working closely with analysts to ensure technical documentation is consistent with business processes. Familiar with the development lifecycle. Supports the communication between technical and business areas. Participate in developing project plans. Work with cross functional teams.

•Data Governance and Stewardship
Mastery in data governance processes including data definitions, metadata management, data quality and master data management. Collaborate with development teams to implement a Governed Data architecture. Partner with business data stewards to evangelize data governance policies and procedures and ensure compliance for all projects/tasks. Monitor stewardship and curation progress of 2-5 domains and increase compliance and drive accountability through partnership and training of data practitioners in the assigned domain. Interacts with Information Architects to understand how information is stored, modeled, and tagged. Act as single point of contact for data quality issues with moderately complex analytic products and models to ensure insights being delivered are reliable and ethical. Contribute to cross functional alignment of core concepts used in Data and Analytics.

•Analytic & Technical Skills
Develop proficiency in knowledge of data analysis and usage requirements, including understanding of data and integration architecture. Develop prototypes & ad hoc analytics for simple to complex projects to understand data use and create insights from data, using both structured and unstructured data. Develop understanding of operationalizing data insights using Xops principles, collaborating with the Platform team to integrate insights into workflows.

•Project Execution
Execute own project tasks with urgency and to a high level of quality. Communicate status clearly and effectively using departmental project management tools. Follow time-tracking and other project management requirements. Participate actively in project meetings, stand-ups, etc. Serve point person for 1-2 divisions/domains or the enterprise program for analytic needs. Lead project meetings and workgroups.

•Customer Service
Ensure outstanding end-user support is provided, including ongoing monitoring of service level agreements for incident management and collaboration with other areas to ensure customer-centered support. Adhere to and promote continual adoption of change management policies and procedures. Model outstanding customer service behavior, including timely and effective follow-up with customers.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:
•Bachelor's degree in a related field
•5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline

Preferred:
  • Experience with stewardship of AI/ML models and data pipelines
  • Experience with stewardship of organizational Data Literacy programs.
