  • Formulate and recommend policy and procedures for NRCS involvement in providing soil, water and resource development technical assistance to foreign governments, agencies, and other related organizations.
  • Serve as advisor to the Chief on NRCS involvement in international conservation.
  • Serve as contact for foreign visitors seeking assistance and represent NRCS in planning foreign assistance programs with officials from USDA, universities, other federal government agencies, and representatives of foreign governments.
  • Provide national liaison, coordination, and representation to both national and international agencies and organizations involved in the planning and scheduling of on-the-job training of foreign nationals.
  • Serve as first-level supervisor for a small staff involved in performing duties to support the work of the International Programs Division.
