Credit & Fraud Risk (CFR) Finance team delivers fact-based, decision-driven and high-impact Net Loss Provision forecasts and credit-risk related insights and deep analytics. The key objective is to drive prudent financial decisions and support credit-risk strategies while ensuring adherence to governance and controls. This position will be part of a highly talented team with strong intellectual curiosity.


How will you make an impact in this role?




  • Play a key role in supporting AXP credit reserve analysis.




  • Develop and support key analytics on qualitative reserve assessment.




  • Perform ad hoc analytics on credit reserves to better understand key trends and drivers.




  • Support CECL, IFRS9 and Non-Risk model and governance.




  • Partner with various cross-functional teams, including Controllership, Corporate Planning, and Risk organizations.




Qualifications




  • Hands-on experience working on financial analytics using large amounts of data.




  • Advanced excel modeling skills and high level of proficiency in PowerPoint are required.




  • Advanced skillset with SQL required; Python preferred.




  • TM1, Tableau, Power BI or other visualization tools experience is strongly preferred.




  • BS/MS in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science.




  • Previous card/risk management experience and/or 1+ years of work experience preferred.




  • Highly motivated individual with desire to work on ambiguous projects, with the ability to break down and execute on complex ideas.




  • Be data-driven, outcome-focused and fast learner.




  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.




  • Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts.




  • Ability to solve ad-hoc business problems independently and manage multiple priorities and projects while adhering to deadlines.




Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
