We are looking for an ambitious, growth minded, marketing communication specialist to support marketing, communications, and innovation initiatives at Safe Food Alliance and DFA of California. You will play a vital role in defining the voice of our companies and using it to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description:
As a Marketing Communication Specialist, you will help create and edit content for social media, write copy for print and digital collateral, oversee our email marketing efforts, manage client communication channels, and help our marketing team expand into new markets. Ultimately, you will act as our brand’s voice to impress our current clients and attract new business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Write, proofread, and edit copy for content creation and corporate communication pieces
Oversee all social media accounts for Safe Food Alliance & DFA. Duties include creating and updating social media posting schedules, replying to comments from subscribers or liking tagged photos and coordinating with staff.
Create content and layouts for marketing emails sent to clients and members, including collecting content, inputting information into Keap email templates, and scheduling.
Research the market, analyze trends to help define the organization's marketing strategy and provide advice as to how to best reach the target markets.
Review and report on analytics to gain channel & content performance insights through research and evaluation
Work with the marketing team to collect, track and analyze client feedback and suggest improvements internally based on the insights gathered – help measure metrics such as NPS to gauge how the brand is performing on client experience performance parameters
Manage client-facing communication channels and respond to client queries in a timely and effective manner, via phone, email, social media, or chat applications
Requirements:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Marketing & or Business Administration
2 to 3 years of experience in communications strategy development
Experience with e-marketing, & B2B marketing campaigns
Experience in Food & Agriculture industry is a plus
Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools
Content writing experience for all media platform
Proven social media and networking expertise
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
