We are looking for an IT Support Specialist who will be based in our corporate headquarters. The IT Support Specialist will report to the Director of IT and assist with company-wide network management, technical support and overseeing the virtual help desk. The ideal individual will also serve as a general technology expert and help design, create, implement, and support environments across all our business verticals.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

Required Skills/Experience

  • A relevant degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in systems development or support work
  • Must be well organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • The ability to provide our team members with great customer care
  • A high degree of problem-solving ability
  • Some regional travel is required
  • Experience in the real estate management industry is a plus
  • Familiarity with apartment leasing operations and/or distributed IT networks
  • Working experience with property management software (Yardi) preferred


Position Responsibilities
  • Work with vendor support to troubleshoot software issues.
  • Assist with documenting our environment of computers/infrastructure, intercoms, security systems, phone lines, etc.
  • Manage critical escalations between our managed help desk and ensure SLA times are within compliance.
  • Install, update, and repair IT hardware/software throughout the various parts of the business.
  • Coordinate with coworkers to complete IT related projects and tasks in an effective team-oriented manner.
  • Assist with managing our MSP relationship and guide them in the decision-making processes.
  • A willingness to learn new Property Management Software and attend any offered training.
  • Assist our help desk with issues stemming from improper equipment configuration, poor Wi-Fi, and un-configured business centers.
  • Keep a company-wide list and inventory of all hardware.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of IT.
