Fertility Registered Nurse
Oma Fertility, a network of clinics opening throughout the US and Oma Robotics, our operations and technology center, comprise an innovative CA based fertility clinic start-up. We are hiring a Registered Nurse in our Oma Fertility Clinic in Santa Barbara (https://omafertility.com/). This is a rare opportunity to better one of healthcare's most important and human-centered services.

Oma Robotics has been developing advanced, specialized software and hardware systems, and technologies that will assist our clinicians to increase In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedures' success rates (public data reported to average only 30%), reduce the number of IVF cycles and reduce the costs that patients must endure today (often up to $50K out of pocket).
That mission was the catalyst to secure financial backing to both develop the technology and open our own clinics throughout the US in 2021/2022. We are preparing for a market launch this quarter with more details on our Company.
Overview of the position: The Registered Nurse (RN) is an essential member of our Team of Physicians and Clinical Staff who provide exceptional patient centered support for the full range of preoperative, procedural (surgical) and post operative care. Some of the responsibilities include:
Acting with genuine compassion and empathy, creating the best possible experience for patients at one of the most hopeful and vulnerable times in their lives.
The RN will direct and provide expert patient care starting with admissions and initial assessments; engaging with patients to help them understand and be confident in their procedures.
RN's will be expected to coordinate, educate and guide patients through their IVF process. A successful candidate possesses strong in-person, phone and written communication skills.
RN clinical skills include blood draws, IV starts and IV push medications.
RN duties include administrative tasks pertaining to set up and coordination of cycles, FDA requirements etc.
Be the focus for patients, both monitoring and direct care in the operating room, during the entire surgical procedure from pre-operative to intra-operative to postoperative phases.
Provide the range of post-operative services within the scope of RN practices that ensure that patients are physiologically prepared, also educated and confident they have our 24/7 support for the next phase of their journey.
Registered Nurse in good standing with current CPR/BLS/ACLS is required.
Fertility/IVF and surgical experience is a plus but not required. We are looking for someone who is highly competent, adaptable and a continuous learner.

The base salary offered for this position will vary based on factors such as role, level, and geographic location. For most hires, the hourly rate is expected to fall between the range of $40-50/hr. This position does include benefits, which are not reflected in this range. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including internal equity and the candidate's experience and skills relevant to the role, and therefore may vary slightly from the amounts listed above.
