Job Description



U.S. Bank is seeking a Workday Engineer to join the Workday Platform team . You’ll be joining a team of engineers and scrum master and will be responsible for building and supporting Workday common services. You will be involved in the technical details of building highly available and reliable services, while also working with product teams to build new capabilities for U.S. Bank HR and Financial systems in Workday.



In addition, focus on technological solution delivery by guiding and inspiring strong coding practices and solid software design decisions among their team. Responsible for growing and mentoring engineers as it relates to technical skills. Assists with cross-team strategic efforts, influencing decisions to achieve efficient delivery of business value. Understands cross-team technical roadmaps, advocating new product abilities based on technical strategy and constraints.

Essential Responsibilities:




  • Must have Workday Prism and Reporting platform experience to influence both design for initial implementation and the subsequent ongoing dynamic analytics roadmap


  • Acts as key resource on PRISM agile scrum team, engaged in all aspects of story delivery; the candidate will be adept with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles


  • Contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement


  • Champions automation of functional and technical processes and bring your technical expertise to drive innovative solutions


  • Mentors other engineers and actively share product knowledge with others


  • Provides subject matter expertise on Workday best practices




Basic Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience


  • Three to five years of relevant experience




Required and Preferred Skills:




  • 3+ years of experience in Workday Integration design and development


  • 3+ years of PRISM design and development


  • 3+ years of developing in Java OR Python, APIs


  • 3+ years of experience in Workday HCM & Financials


  • Experience with Workday Security and managing authentication policies (preferred)


  • Workday Extend knowledge (preferred)

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $95,540.00 - $112,400.00 - $123,640.00
