Senior Management Analyst - Analytics - ICE/HSI - (Hybrid Onsite/Remote)

We are looking for a Senior Management Analyst to support the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)'s Office of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Primary Responsibilities will include:

HSI has support needs in the functional area of program support. The management analyst shall provide support to the following tasks:

• Attend meetings of working groups and document weekly progress reviews, executive summary, or updates on status of assignments and identification of new items for tracking.


• Track implementation or completion of simultaneous milestones and multiple deliverables to ensure timely submissions and version control and tracking of documentation to ensure overall project completion.


• Gather information from various sources and assemble the information into comprehensive work products (reports, briefings, white papers, executive summaries, etc.).


• Modify, operate, maintain, and deploy HSI's existing planning, management, administrative, budgeting, and data analytics products to include incorporating additional data sources and developing new dashboard views as requested.


• Develop communications to include but not limited to white papers, executive summaries, presentations. Products shall provide clear, concise communication of complex ideas and analysis through appropriate data visualization products and outputs. Ensure all communications products meet HSI, ICE, and DHS style guidelines.


• Create and present analyses (in writing or orally via presentation for varying level of audiences from analytical expert to non-technical leader).


• Develop and maintain technical manuals, user guides, internal standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other relevant information required by the government to conduct operations.


• Periodically report to project leads and other stakeholders on status and progress of efforts. Prepare briefings and communicate to non-technical managers and staff on the intent, purpose, scope, analysis, and results of all assigned projects and efforts.


• Assist with survey questionnaire development, plans for analysis, and programming into survey software such as MS Forms.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree (MA/MS) required in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a similar field.


• Ten (10) years of experience in developing data-driven performance reporting tools, data analytics experience.


• In addition to the ten (10) years of experience, the senior management analyst should have:
  
  
  
  • three (3) years of experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Enterprise Server, and R programming;
  
  
  • three (3) of experience working with clients to improve data quality;
  
  
  • five (5) years of experience with performance measures and efficiency statistics; and
  
  
  • 5 years of experience presenting data and dashboards to an interdisciplinary audience.
  
  
  
  


• Experience shall include gathering information from various sources and assembling the information into a comprehensive work product for leadership decisions.


• Experience shall include working with a variety of diverse and complicated projects and performing under tight time constraints.


• The senior management analyst shall have at least 10 years of experience with data analytics and creating user-friendly data-driven management-level decision making tools, such as dashboards.


• Experience must include combining multiple fields among multiple datasets and conducting different types of calculations/analyses (e.g., trend analysis, forecasting, descriptive statistics).
