Summary
The Fronius USA Solar Energy Linux Developer is a C++ software on the inverter application stack. You will contribute to the further development of the software for our inverters in our solar energy division.
What you bring to the team
As a Linux / C++ Developer at Fronius USA, you are passionate about the conception and further development of Linux systems.
You have experience working on a SCRUM team, and are an expert when it comes to implementing C++ applications on Linux. Top candidates will have previous professional experience working with system-related software / embedded systems.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Conception and further development of our Linux based software platform
- Development of system-related C / C++ applications on Linux systems
- Evaluation of new technologies and sustainable solutions
- Cooperation in the agile SCRUM team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of embedded development, electrical engineering or similar, master’s degree preferred
- Strong programming skills in C++ (minimum 11 / 14)
- Previous professional experience with system-related software / embedded systems
- Knowledge of bus systems and communication (e.g. Ethernet / CAN / Modbus, Modbus Sunspec)
- Knowledge of PC hardware, interfaces and protocols
