Ocala Operations is a multi-shift manufacturing facility that build circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies.

The facility currently has over 1500 employees and provides products to seven Missiles and Fire Control sites.

Ocala specializes in both low volume high mix and high volume production that has a combination of automated processes as well as labor intensive manufacturing.

The position of Electronic Associate is responsible for performing soldering, bonding, wiring, routing, riveting, assembly, disassembly, touch up, rework, cleaning and minor modifications to several different assemblies and subassemblies within the facility including mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic parts and components using a variety of hand tools, in process checks and special assembly and alignment tooling.

This role requires fine motor skills in order to assemble, adjust and align a variety of assemblies and subassemblies to close tolerance.

Work from approved engineering drawings, mechanical blueprints, quality inspection procedures, military specifications, manufacturing process plans and other written instructions.

Move in-process work, components, parts, assemblies, material and completed product to appropriate locations, utilizing all lifting and moving devices in the performance of duties throughout the facility.

Use a wide variety of measuring instruments and equipment to perform visual, dimensional and mechanical floor and product inspection of printed circuit boards, harnesses, chassis, subassemblies, assemblies and final assemblies.
