• Sr Analyst - Ops RsrchEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Enable production planning and process optimization. Optimize the alignment of staff, both strategically (long-term) and tactically (short-term), with future workload demand by developing and maintaining accurate call center and operations forecasts using statistical analysis, simulation modeling, and other mathematical methods. Develop and maintain accurate forecasts to predict staff need under a variety of intake volumes and conditions using data/statistical analysis, simulation modeling and other mathematical methods. Analyze data and other information in order to conceptualize and define operational problems and/or improvement opportunities. Provide guidance, background information, and assistance to management and other staff on the analysis and interpretation of process performance data. Determine the correct mathematical or statistical methods and approaches to answer particular questions. Develop an expert level of knowledge of the MAXIMUS BPM framework to define, optimize, automate, and manage business processes to identify key measures or indicators of process performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance. Determine how a process should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and other factors will affect outcomes. Collaborate with others in the organization to ensure successful implementation of chosen problem solutions. Design, conduct, and evaluate statistical, simulation, optimization, or other mathematical models to uncover more effective ways to deliver service to the client. Identify innovative and pragmatic solutions to management problems. Analyze existing systems and organizational processes; make recommendations to improve their design and behavior to improve service to the client. Document “best practice” approaches and continuously measure project outcomes for desired results. Write and make presentations to clients, often requiring clear and persuasive explanation of complex processes to a non-technical audience. Perform other duties as may be assigned by management. Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience. - Advanced degree or professional designation preferred. - Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems. - Work requires considerable judgment and initiative. - Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.
