Atlanta Metro Area - Hybrid with remote work 2 to 3 days a week

SUMMARY: The Proposals Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of custom supply chain solutions for new and existing customers by ensuring the proper execution of activities and tasks associated with each project. Provides overall leadership, direction, guidance, and oversight to cross-functional team leads assigned to the RFP response effort. Main focus is to lead the team by removing barriers and guiding team members through problem solving activities to keep the project on track, while being the front-line customer contact for any RFP-related communications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned:

Manage proposal activities from initial review of RFPs to submittal of final proposal.

Gain a deep understanding of the RFP requirements in order help team develop compelling and client-focused proposal documents and presentations.

Schedule and lead RFP kickoff meetings and follow up with internal subject matter experts.

Collaborate with senior leadership to develop optimal RFP response strategies.

Perform all writing and file development associated with KGPCo’s RFP responses.

Manage the analysis for new business cases to determine pricing and profitability.

Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to compile information necessary to complete RFP response materials.

Work closely with legal department to develop contractual exceptions and comments.

Act as single point of contact to answer Customer questions regarding RFP response.

Develop robust knowledge of internal operations within KGPCo.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Proficient with group facilitation.

Experience with Microsoft Office Software - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

BA/BS degree required with at least 5-10 years related experience.

MBA preferred with 3-5 years related work experience.

Organized and able to support multiple projects at a time in a fast paced constantly changing environment.
