What you’ll be doing...


The Global Technology Solutions (GTS) organization holds a key role in shaping the new path for technical transformation. We challenge ourselves to solve top-of-mind strategic technical questions, collaborating with leaders and experts across the organization. You will be a part of challenging the status quo with the new Verizon 2.3 way of working that builds on customer centricity, collaboration, and innovation to drive positive change.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable results quickly and solve short-term and long-term solutions for the organization.

  • Leveraging critical thinking and sharp problem-solving skills backed by data to support the design and execution of new solutions.

  • Partnering with the right people to work across teams, identify requirements, and ensure successful and efficient execution.

  • Driving initiatives to ensure they are on track, identify potential risks, take ownership of issues, drive them to resolution and mitigate impact to the schedules and stakeholders.

  • Communicating internal and external to the organization; status, issues, accomplishments, and priorities of the program.

  • Understanding and help communicate clear direction concerning new processes, standards and roles/responsibilities.

    In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.



    What we’re looking for...


    You’ll need to have:



  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.


  • Even better if you have one or more of the following:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.

  • Experience in interacting with business clients, interfacing organizations, and application development teams.

  • Knowledge of the software development process.

  • Experience in leading through influence.

  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills in combination with experience in financial modeling.
