As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Leading the development of world class software for the Healthcare Industry
Implementing and incorporating good Security practices in Software Development
Determining the most optimum solution for a given problem
Supporting and collaborating with other engineers in solving problems and global teams
Creating well tested, high-quality Software following a Test-Driven Development model
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Four (4) years of experience with Java, SpringBoot and SpringCloud
One (1) year of experience with Docker and Linux
Two (2) years of experience with at least one scripting language (example: Python, Ruby, Bash etc.)
One (1) year of experience with any deployment tool such as Terraform and/or Ansible
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
AWS Cloud Certification
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Consul, Prometheus, Rancher
Cloud experience
Open Source Software contributions
Work location:
Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)
Pittsburgh, PA or REMOTE
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
