Key Role:
Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise full industry knowledge. Orchestrate the development of a system of interest , encompassing hardware and software through its entire life cycle from requirements determination through operations and system retirement, with an emphasis on domain expert involvement, risk or opportunity management, and tailoring of processes to meet the needs of the specific project. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.
Basic qualifications:
Experience with supporting testing and exercises with appropriate configurations of hardware components
Experience with supporting systems engineering in evaluation and selection of COTS hardware elements
Knowledge of how to maintain hardware product breakdown structure drawing tree
Ability to develop, build, or produce hardware elements of systems
Ability to synthesize hardware designs from higher-tier architecture and requirements, deriving and decomposing requirements as appropriate
Ability to perform analyses to risk-reduce downstream activities such as thermal analysis, vibration analysis, and circuit analysis
Ability to perform hardware integration, planning, execution, and coordination with factory
Top Secret clearance
