Input Technology Solutions is seeking a Cloud Solutions Engineer - Endpoint Management in the Virginia Beach, VA area!

The Cloud Solutions Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day management and improvements to the tools that our users will use to communicate and stay productive, including but not limited to, Okta, Google Workspace, Kandji, and Microsoft Intune. The Cloud Solutions Engineer will have a high-level view of the current status of systems and an understanding of how they connect with each other. The Cloud Solutions Engineer will also support, monitor, and maintain cloud based systems. This role will be comfortable in looking at data to develop, plan, and execute large scale projects used to streamline and generally improve user experience through various levels of automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop workflows, automation, processes, or solutions to proactively prevent problems, improve user productivity and automate recurring tasks

  • Develop and maintain modern desktop/device management solutions using Windows 10, Android, iOS, and MacOS with Intune and Kandji

  • Package, test, and deploy applications for Windows 10, Android, iOS, and MacOS

  • Configure modern device management utilizing zero touch provisioning methods

  • Maintain and configure systems for large scale deployments, management of IoT, mobile (cellular), BYOD, and Linux devices

  • Grow, scale, and document new SaaS applications and review them with the other business units to solve their growth challenges

  • Work within DroneUp’s various cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS)

  • Assist in day-to-day project coordination and management of cloud resources, including troubleshooting problems and outages

  • Provide recommendations for cloud related upgrades and improvements

  • Monitor systems’ performance and create reports to management based on this information

  • Respond to requests from change control, service outages, service requests, and act as a technical escalation resource to others on the team

  • Create and maintain technical documentation of related systems and implementations

  • Ensure accountability for delivering well-tested, secure technologies that support DroneUp’s vision and strategy

  • Procure hardware, software, and other IT related equipment as needed

  • Provide hands-on assistance to ensure all projects and deliverables are completed accurately and on time, including deployment of projects and initiatives

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years of relevant experience with Cloud services and 3 years of system administration/engineering experience

  • Experience in ground up architecture design and function of automated deployments with Intune and Autopilot

  • Experience supporting cloud based and SaaS applications including Okta, Intune, Kandji, Atlassian products, and Google Workspace

  • Experience working with APIs to interconnect various applications and build workflows to provide efficient user lifecycle management

  • Skilled in writing PowerShell and other scripting to help with automating tasks

  • Background in meeting security compliance such as HIPAA, HiTrust, ISO, and PCI

  • Strong knowledge of macOS, Linux, and Windows operating systems

  • Proficient in configuration and installation of on prem and cloud-based IP phones and management

  • Understanding of fundamental networking concepts, practices, procedures, and protocols

  • Knowledge of best practices around engineering, data security and identity

  • Self-starter able to troubleshoot independently in downtime or outage situations with the ability to also work in a team environment

  • Well versed in SCCM, AD, Exchange, WSUS, Group Policy, and all Azure variants

  • Knowledge of LTE/Cellular device planning, implementation, and configuration

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
