Product Development - Project Engineer

Onyx Aerospace in Huntsville, AL is looking to hire a full-time Product Development - Project Engineer to help our team meet deadlines and deliver quality products. This position earns a competitive salary of $85,000 - $105,000/year, based on applicable experience. This position is remote with some travel to Huntsville, AL required. We recommend that you live within 200 miles of Huntsville.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT - PROJECT ENGINEER

As a Product Development - Project Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring requirements are communicated to and understood by various team members. Acting as a facilitator on multiple projects, you ensure the requirements and plans are aligned. This involves resolving issues as they arise as well as working with the product owners to mitigate requirement conflicts. You take great satisfaction in knowing you play such an important role in the success of our engineering teams!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT - PROJECT ENGINEER

• 
  Bachelor's degree in engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) certified program
• 
  3+ years of engineering experience
• 
  3+ years of experience in requirements management, product development, or technical product planning

WORK SCHEDULE

Your schedule is driven by team interaction. This full-time, remote position typically works Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm. At least 60% of your time should be worked during normal hours, but there is some flexibility outside of that. Occasional travel to Huntsville, AL will be required.
