Responsibilities


The Marketing Manager manages corporate marketing and is responsible for execution of the company’s overall communications strategy and client digital experiences.  This includes a broad scope of duties focused on marketing, branding and communications initiatives, as well as external user experience research and design.  This role maintains a dedicated attention to marketing/branding content creation, global distribution of communications, and brand focused quality control across the organization.


 


Key functions include but are not limited to the following:



  • Creates materials supporting products and services that ensure the Key Risk brand remains relevant and vibrant to agents, employers and associates.

  • Responsible for graphic design including maintenance of all existing marketing collateral materials (company and brand logos, marketing handouts, point of sale, booth systems and digital).

  • Responsible for content creation and distribution calendar to support marketing and sales initiatives.

  • Responsible for design and execution of a modern social media strategy across a variety of channels.

  • Conducts research and development of customers personas.

  • Builds and leverages client and CRM data to develop targets, leads and support Sales & Distribution department

  • In collaboration with field sales & marketing, develops value propositions, messaging and general product marketing.

  • Responsible for custom campaign content development and the ongoing management of contact distribution lists for global and custom agency outreach in alignment with sales and distribution team.

  • Manages content updates to Key Risk’s website. Maintains structural development of website pages and components sections including metadata and site configuration. Ensures updates are made to the site infrastructure.

  • Writes, reviews, and publishes company communications, including press releases, company newsletters, collateral materials, forms, user guides as well as other relevant point for view articles that support Key Risk’s market strategy.

  • Supports the Alternative Market segment operating units in user experience research and design implementation for digital applications including portal environments, chat bot, and global notifications


Key Performance Indicators



  • Performance for this role will be evaluated across the qualitative performance definitions for Key Risk and W. R. Berkley including: Accountability, Communication, Customer Focus, Flexibility, Innovation and Initiative, and Teamwork and Collaboration. 

  • Quantitative performance will be measured in alignment with the objectives established within the annual business plan for the marketing department, including the focus areas of:


 





    • Agency Communications Management

    • Collateral Development and Management

    • Final Product Quality Review of Marketing Project Assignments

    • Media Relations, Social Media and Point of View Article Development

    • Timely and Accurate Preparation of Project Assignments

    • Implementation of digital application development



Qualifications



  • BA/BS in Communications, Advertising, Marketing or related Business Field

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in the marketing field with hands-on experience in marketing, branding, communications, advertising and digital media

  • Preferable experience with a marketing firm with exposure to a broad range of industries and project work.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications

  • Skilled in various graphic design applications, including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop

  • Experience in Aquia / Drupal CMS preferred
