About the job

As a PLM Solutions Engineer you will be responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of our PLM System and Integrations.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the selection, configuration, integration, implementation and maintenance of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management system. Solution will be integrated with design platforms (e.g. MCAD, ECAD,) as well as enterprise platforms (e.g. ERP, MES)
  • Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements for new functionality and continuous improvement
  • Develop solution designs and technical specifications, and implement customizations and configurations to meet business requirements
  • Coordinate with the software team on integration of Software Change Management and Software Release Process into the company PLM system
  • Implement PLM/PDM set-up and work flows aligned with best practices for lean and agile change management and compliant with AS9100 Quality Management requirements
  • Generate and maintain a variety of training materials (user guides, troubleshooting manuals, etc.) for policies, business processes, and technical software
  • Respond and support general engineering application requests related to PLM and integrations
  • In conjunction with the release team, manufacturing and engineering, maintain best practices for configuration release including change order review and change control board activity.


Qualifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Information Technology, Business or a related subject
  • 5+ years working with, configuring and/or implementing enterprise applications in a design and/or manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years experience with implementing, configuring, and maintaining PLM and/or PDM Systems
  • Relevant experience managing and/or integrating MCAD, ECAD & ERP with PDM solutions
  • Experience gathering and accurately translating business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience with engineering configuration management (CM) and product data management (DM) processes & best practices
  • Functional understanding of roles and responsibilities of manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering roles throughout the product life-cycle
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for working with diverse stakeholders (Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Accounting, etc.)
  • Passionate about data quality and efficiency


Bonus Qualifications

  • Configuration Management Certification (CMII or CMTF)
  • Experience with CATIA (MCAD), Altium (ECAD), and Kinetic Epicor (E
