About you:

You are a well-rounded, self-motivated, critical and design thinker with a strong attention to detail. You are a proven leader, ready to utilize user-centered design best practices to create and deliver modern UX and UI products and experiences across multiple digital platforms. You are passionate for creating simple and effective designs in a collaborative environment to develop best in class user experiences. You take an always-learning approach to staying current with design best practices and UX trends.

You are laser-focused on consistently providing the best user experience, structure and process, all based in UX research and strategy. You are a cross-functional leader and a master collaborator who wants to be a part of and make a meaningful impact in a positive, fast-paced working environment. You effortlessly form a cohesive and inclusive bridge between users, strategy, and product development teams to deliver a class-leading user experience.

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with colleagues and key stakeholders in a team environment
• Design software and website user experiences for mobile and desktop
• Work closely with UX and CX strategists to research customers; base your designs on data
• Manage and evolve the NinjaTrader digital design system files
• Stay up to date on your design skills, as well as UX and technology trends

You will also:

• Use modern, industry best practices to design innovative capabilities and intuitive user flows to deliver a world class customer experience
• Lead the design of projects throughout the entire lifecycle from concept through definition, strategy, and implementation, including creation of wireframes & mockups
• Confidently and clearly communicate with and present your work to internal team members through the c-suite, and external vendors, answering questions and articulating information
• Uncover and understand user needs, goals and behaviors and translate them into thoughtful user-centric products and features
• Understand organization goals and technical capabilities to apply to designs
• Partner with UX and CX strategists to conduct user research, and identify opportunities for streamlining and creating new processes and experiences across platforms and interactive touch points
• Research competitive and cutting-edge marketplace and industry trends to identify opportunities for continued enhancements
• Help develop and deliver scalable design processes, tools, and practices for governance, workflows, and documentation for sharing
• Consult cross-functionally through brand visual design across the organization
• Meet deliverables within agreed timeframes

Key Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years of UX and/or UI design experience preferably in an agency or dedicated SaaS environment
• Must be adaptable, empathetic and solution-oriented
• Must possess a solid understanding of UX wireframes, user personas, journey maps, user flows, and conversion-focused design
• Must be a strong conceptual thinker can define strong new approaches to new or existing processes and continue to build on those with strong concepts
• Must be a strong leader and collaborator can confidently work with and clearly communicate with leads, directors, and above
• Must have design skills prototyping, wireframing and design tools such as Figma, Axure, InVision
• Must be comfortable managing projects where solutions are not well defined & priorities evolve
• Must be self-motivated and able to easily execute without ample direction with a proven record of successfully leading project UX from concept to completion
• Must be able to effectively manage workloads and technical requirements to meet deliverables within agreed timeframes
• Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to think critically and efficiently multitask
• Must be open to constructive criticism
• Must be able to learn and adapt quickly

Ideal Experience:

• Adobe products (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
• Experience using front-end code, including HTML5, CSS, etc.
• Design system management experience
• Google Analytics
• Relevant work examples and portfolio will be requested
