Job Responsibilities

Mendix developers at Capgemini mix agility, collaboration, and technical expertise into their daily activities. We’re in search of passionate problem solvers who want to move beyond sitting behind a screen coding all day and instead focus on what really matters to deliver applications customers will love and adopt – business value.

In the role of Lead Mendix / Low Code Developer, you will be part of a team of Mendix developers, including business partners, to build dynamic applications that will drive our competitive differentiation in the market.

Responsibilities

• Help set up and showcase Appian/Mendix capability for low code development (including team grooming and setup)


• Work with stakeholders to come up with definitions, controlled vocabularies, and standards for working with Appian/Mendix


• Create Appian/Mendix dix Business Models and Applications


• Monitor and troubleshoot solutions and recommend other solutions for optimization


• Establish roadmap, standards, and best practices to build and deploy Appian/Mendix solutions


• Demonstrate value delivery from Appian/Mendix work assigned and executed


• Handle analysis, implementation, change requests, continuous integration, and 3rd-level support for incidents


• Contribute to various integration projects in a broad diversity of scenarios


• Code Review and (automated) testing


• Root cause analysis and bugs correction


• Notify and track dependencies on other teams


• Produce technical documentation


• Participate in regular status meetings

Qualifications

• Experience with relational database structure and design


• Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3


• Experience with Python


• .NET, Java, or comparable programming experience preferred


• Agile experience


• React experience a plus


• SCRUM certification a plus


• CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins and Visual Studio Team Services


• Experience with Docker


• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or management of information systems, OR business degree with 2-5 years of work experience building web and mobile applications or tools


• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques


• Flexibility to change direction, iterate, and adopt new technology to meet solution requirements
