Procter & Gamble is a global consumer goods organization with a unique portfolio of successful world-leading brands. The P&G St Louis plant is a state-of-the-art and high-tech-control and production technology site that manufactures famous brands such as: Cascade, Dawn, Mr Clean, and Febreze.

We are looking for Construction Project Managers to assist on multiple CapEx projects in development and forecasted at site. This role will manage and enhance construction execution processes at Procter & Gamble St. Louis in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work internally alongside the existing project management and 3rd party construction organizations. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills as the successful candidate will be the face of construction execution to the broader manufacturing team.


Qualifications

Key qualifications this role will include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent engineering science
  • 4-10 years of experience in construction management of large projects involving large-scale civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes; as well as processes and production equipment. Experience will include vendor management, change control and construction turnover management.
  • Experience with Lean IPD project execution strategy
  • Experience interfacing early in the design process to provide constructability reviews in engineering design
  • Ability to manage several project executions simultaneously and coordinate activities to generate best value execution strategies
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety practices with a minimum of OSHA 30-hour certification
  • Ability to build construction capability of new team resources
  • Ability to lead/participate in daily direction setting meetings and communicate plan to a larger audience not versed in construction
  • Ability to interpret a construction plan and identify the impacts that plan may have on an ongoing production environment
  • Experience with other construction technologies; Field use of Drones, Robots, Laser Scanning. Last Planner, Virtual Design Coordination and Big Rooms used in Lean IPD
