AET has an exciting opportunity within our IT department for an IT System Support Specialist role! Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, team oriented, and has strong customer service and communication skills.





Primary Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for end user assistance for hardware, software, operating system, and other computer related support requests

  • Respond to, analyze, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software problems

  • Research issues as necessary before escalating the issue to the next level of technical support

  • Perform hardware and software installations for all users

  • Document, track, and monitor problems into the Service Desk software to ensure timely resolution

  • Provide feedback on current support trends and assist in identifying and resolving root causes

  • Answer employee questions and communicate effectively with them throughout the support process

  • Support mobile devices including iOS and Android, both personal and company-owned

  • Manage IT asset life cycle including OS deployment, setup with users, and replacement of retired assets

  • Maintain asset information and assignments within an Asset Management system

  • Create, modify, and delete user accounts in Active Directory

  • Perform basic user maintenance in Office 365 Admin around mailboxes and permissions

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues

  • Think creatively and “outside the box” in order to solve unique problems




Other Responsibilities:


  • Create and maintain IT related documentation and training both for end users and internal IT processes

  • Assist with other IT projects as needed and as time permits

  • Attend regular meetings




Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate or technical degree preferred

  • A minimum of 2 years of Help Desk support or related experience

  • Training experience preferred
