Position:
The Sr. Proposal Manager is responsible for managing (leading) and writing RFP and RFI responses, unsolicited proposals, and other RFx-related material for multiple solution areas.
This individual:
Maintains proposal readiness in multiple solution areas
Leads all levels of RFP and RFI responses and proactive proposals in solution areas, including highly complex proposals
Provides additional proposal support and leadership as needed
Leads ad hoc projects as assigned
The Sr. Proposal Manager will work with sales, account management, technical, clinical, production, and management personnel, as well as other proposal team members. This individual will act as a role model, and mentor to other proposal team members. Must be able to independently w ork on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
Lead and write end-to-end RFP and RFI responses and proactive proposals of all levels in multiple solution areas, including complex proposals. - 75%
Lead all aspects of RFx response process, including creating RFP summaries, scheduling and hosting status calls and writing executive summaries, creating drafts, and managing draft reviews, routing drafts and other documents, completing forms, obtaining signatures.
Maintain proposal readiness in multiple solution areas - 10%
Proactively develop knowledge of solutions and relationships with SMEs and share knowledge across team, updating the database regularly based on trainings, product updates, and proposal responses.
Provide additional proposal leadership as needed. - 10%
Identify, create, and maintain proposal tools (templates, model RFPs, Power Point decks), and general (e.g., webinars for field).
Participate in and lead ad hoc projects. - 5%
Propose and lead operational and strategic initiatives to improve proposal team contributions to the business and enterprise.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, or related major. Post-graduate degree a plus and/or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience with proposal writing, including proven writing and editing skills, in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Healthcare, Communication and or Marketing related experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills, proven attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, requirements and processes, and proven follow-up skills. Must be able to independently handle multiple priorities simultaneously and re-prioritize work around deadlines as needed.
Ability to strictly follow RFP requirements and instructions, including print production and compliance requirements
Proven experience with a proposal content management system and with online proposal response platforms/portals.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Adobe and Microsoft Office products
Experience using a proposal content management system (RFPIO/Qvidian)
Knowledge of SharePoint and Salesforce a plus
Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) certification

Travel:
Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time depending on COVID travel restrictions / Current State: We are visiting some clients.
You can be based out of within 1 hour of major airport
