Utilizes advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds. Working under limited supervision, monitors building system operations and performance..
-Maintains a suitable and safe climatic environment. Performs predictive, preventive and/or corrective maintenance on equipment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
- Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
- Performs assigned repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as the need arises.
- Maintains an energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum.
- Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
- Keeps accurate operational logs of equipment in multiple buildings.
- Makes rounds of machinery rooms, cooling towers, boiler rooms, and rooftops to perform visual inspections of equipment and verify its operation.
- Makes vital water tests on converters and chillers.
- Proficient in operating, programming and troubleshooting Hospital Computerized Systems such as but not limited to: Building Automation Systems (BAS), Fire Alarm Systems, Pneumatic Tube Systems and CMMS system management.
- Performs some building maintenance and electrical work as necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 4 years of related experience and/or trade school training
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 per hour
