As a Business Analyst, you'll drive vital projects that have strategic importance to make that mission a reality. Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead process design and project implementation teams in process improvement activities


• Diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools


• Lead your business partners in the creation, implementation and evaluation of Total Quality Management (TQM) programs

Sure, you'll need to diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions. The difficulty is in knowing the right questions to ask. You will solve complex problems as you serve as a resource to others on your elite team. You'll be expected to find better, more efficient ways of doing things and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in writing business and/or system requirements and business/finance analysis


• 2+ years of experience with documenting processes and practices, often in accepted project methodology artifacts, while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects and deadlines

Preferred Qualifcations:

• 2+ years of experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio


• Previous health care industry experience


• Previous team lead or project lead experience


• Medicare & Retirement Implementations department on the project


• Lead the project and have knowledge of the resources and dependencies as well as time lines


• Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them


• Serve as a key resource on complex and / or critical issues


• Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions


• Perform complex conceptual analyses


• Load and or update providers into to appropriate system for project


• Support and maintain ongoing meetings with each Health Plan and Business Partners to promote and update on status of Medicare & Retirement Implementations activities


• Survey and maintain the needs of each Health Plan on issues being incurred related to provider data


• Maintain working documentation on provider data, to include progress, risks, and milestones met

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
