JOB PURPOSE:

This position will design and improve in-house MES applications in Thingworx. Interfaces with other software services to store and retrieve manufacturing data. Creates dashboards to present information from multiple data sources. Collaborates with the program manager and architect when working on new functionality.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops software used in manufacturing facilities for performance, alerts, and other MES functions
  • Creates software tools to simplify and empower manufacturing teams
  • Maintains an understanding of TTC challenges and provides recommendations via software solutions
  • Maintains and improves database architecture for storing manufacturing data

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in an ABET-accredited Software, Computer Science, or Electrical engineering program
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Experience in Java & Javascript
  • Experience in SQL
  • Experience in discrete manufacturing desirable
  • Ability to influence technology plans, assert own ideas and persuade others
