Position Summary: This individual will take ownership of statistical reporting and various reserves at the corporate level as well as for individual agencies and regions within the company. The Senior Financial Analyst will utilize hands-on accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices to perform complex accounting activities and financial analysis. This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support optimal business decision making.
Essential Duties:
- Prepare and analyze monthly statistical reports (trends, monthly and quarterly variance analyses)
- Prepare monthly and quarterly statistical memorandum and reports that are used in the Company's Senior Management & SEC reporting
- Maintains reporting hierarchies used to capture the correct information for roll-ups at the state, region, business line, and acquisition status levels
- Develop and update collection goals for Addus' reimbursement teams on a monthly basis
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of Accounts Receivable reserves within various systems
- Prepare and analyze risk related reserves for the company on a quarterly basis
- Research variances to gain understanding of various aspects within the items listed above and make recommendations for improvements as appropriate
- Compliance with and monitoring of internal controls with SOX 404
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
- Maintain regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
- Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards
- Performs other duties as assigned

Position Requirements & Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CMA designation preferred
- Five years minimum accounting/finance experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Conceptual thinker, creative, able to take broad concepts and develop financial models to support business decisions
- Experience in high-volume, low margin business operating in regulated environment preferred
- Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF and IFERROR
- Essbase, SmartView or similar Excel add-in experience preferred
- Basic understanding of Healthcare Accounts Receivables - including Aging reports, Waterfall analyses, and general Payor types
- Proven success in fast-pace, growth-oriented, results-driven organization
- High standards of accuracy and precision
Environment: Moderate noise level similar to a typical office environment with computers, printers, and work activity.
