ResponsibilitiesAPI strategy management/implementationRationalize API monetization strategy across multipleproducts/offeringsPerform competitive assessment and technical analysis for APImanagementDevelop API taxonomy and classification across a broad range of productsDevelopstrategies for API payload optimization for integrations/interoperabilityWork with stakeholders torationalize and prioritize use cases for developing, consuming and running APIsPartner with Technical Operations and business to select, develop and validate toolsDeveloprequirements for SW for API management of web and desktop applicationsRationalize existing API management tools with strategyValidate API management toolsDrive adoption of API managementtools in businessOversee API governance strategy for SWDefine process around how API strategyis implemented by the businessDefine KPIs for adherence to API management policies
Required Skillset Extensive experience with service and API development Demonstrated experience developing monetization based on API and data Demonstrated experience leading multiple teams on API architecture initiatives Demonstrated experience with security aspects of APIDemonstrated experience developing API strategy for multi-cloud and/or hybrid deploymentscenarios Experience with full SDLC and multiple development tools such as Git Demonstrated experience with Solution architecture for integration projects
Preferred Skillset Experience developing API strategy for commercial products. Knowledge on standards for data exchange especially around PLM and operational data Experience developing API strategy for brownfield applications Security Certifications Experience with API management tools (Mulesoft, Apigee, Kong) Experience working with enterprise, engineering and PLM Applications Experience with encryption and DRM Experience with robotic process automation (RPA)

The salary range for this position is $159,900 to $287,800 and this role is eligible to earn another 7.5-25% in variable pay. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
