We are looking for a high performing Production Control & Logistics Manager._ This highly visible position is responsible for providing results driven leadership to purchasing, shipping/receiving and inventory. These key areas of responsibility include overseeing the department’s planning, budgeting, resource management, scheduling, training, supplier network, best practices, quality, and continued improvement._

What You Will Do: __

• Obtain, analyze, and report trend information to the management team.__
• Establish and track departmental goals and objectives that provide world-class materials performance to the organization.
• Supervise all aspects of Purchasing for the site in relation with the Group Purchasing Manager.__
• Analyze and manage all aspects of Inventory Management to ensure the accuracy of data in the system including location, quantity on hand, value, etc. Minimize overall inventory value by continuously improving processes and procedures.__
• Ensures that the receiving, storage, and distribution of all items received either from suppliers or production shops, ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.__
• Ensure that all customer needs are met based upon quoted lead times and support production with best options to meet the demands.__
• Ensure production is provided with a dispatch listing of jobs to run to meet that needs of the customer’s shipping date.__
• Annually prepares the department budget.__
• _Plans and coordinates work, trains and motivates, monitors, and yearly evaluates performance, counsels, records, and disciplines all supervised employees.

• Ensure that all team members receive training hours consistent with the company’s goal each year.

What We Are Looking For: __

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/ or 5 years of relevant experience in a managerial capacity with experience in purchasing/shipping/receiving/and inventory management.__
• Knowledge of material management and purchasing policies and procedures to include legal and ethical obligations.
• Must be able to multi-task multiple projects simultaneously.
• Preferred knowledge of MRP/PRP, manufacturing, inventory control, and production planning.
• Strong verbal, written, and listening skills__
• Strong problem solving, strategic thinking and analytical skills__
• Supervisory and leadership skills__
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen__

Salary for this position is commensurate upon experience and education.__
