Due to continued growth in our Accounting Advisory practice we are seeking a Manager who will have the flexibility to be based in any office throughout our footprint or potentially remote for the right resource. What your day(s) look like: 


As a Manager, you will be responsible for handling multiple client relationships with a team of professionals providing technical consulting for events and transaction services, as well as other projects & solutions. You will be expected to provide an appropriate level of staff supervision to ensure deadlines are met through the timely review of deliverables for complex engagements including but not limited to:



  • Mergers & Acquisitions

  • Restatements

  • Carve-Outs

  • IPO and IPO Readiness

  • Lease Standard Implementation (ASC 842)

  • CECL Implementation (ASC 326)

  • Segment Reporting

  • Buy & Sell Diligence Support

  • IFRS / US GAAP Conversions

  • Finance Support

  • ESG

  • Crypto accounting


 


Key Skills & Competencies:



  • Sound project management skills needed to meet client and/or internal deadlines with a focus on details

  • Ability to communicate effectively with professionals at all levels within client organizations and the firm

  • A team oriented approached, exemplified by the ability to successfully delegate work assignments and contribute in a hands-on capacity as needed

  • Continued development of analytical and diagnostic skills

  • Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with a focus on details and accuracy

  • Ability to navigate ambiguous and complex client assignments and adapt to rapidly changing environments

  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment as part of a larger distributed team


 


Required qualifications for this role:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • Active CPA

  • Four or more years of experience within a public accounting firm or corporate industry accounting role

  • Demonstrated technical accounting expertise and understanding of accounting processes and internal controls



  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word

  • Prior experience with various assurance applications and research tools beneficial

  • Ability to travel up to 25% (post-Covid)
