Description
The Senior Cloud Services Engineer utilizes software that manages and monitors networks, systems and applications not only to guarantee performance to cloud software environments but also to better orchestrate and automate provisioning of resources. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

The Cloud Services Engineer will be responsible for:

Responsibilities
The Cloud Services Engineer will be responsible for:
- Partner with Cloud platform and application teams to provide overall infrastructure guidance & assistance for
- Migrating existing or implementing new workloads in the cloud, supported by Infrastructure automation
- Infrastructure & application automation modules and pipelines
- Infrastructure deployment activities
- Orchestrate problem resolution efforts in an application's cloud migration journey
- Owns, drives and automates all implementation of new cloud capabilities with any of the major cloud providers
- Drives significant portion of Cloud Architecture with identifying new cloud capabilities, design, implementation and support
- Identify opportunities to enhance current application automation processes
- Identify new infrastructure automation opportunities
- Connect the dots to quickly to know where to seek assistance, including providing design, build and run guidance to internal customers
- Multi-task with a variety of application and infrastructure teams
- Effectively communicate project status and timelines to leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
- 5 or more years of technical experience in IT infrastructure
- Minimum of 3 years experience with cloud platform infrastructure and architecture (Azure, GCP, AWS) and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation etc.)
- Experience working with highly scalable, resilient and automated cloud platforms running critical workloads
- Hands on experience using and building CI/CD pipelines (Github, ADO, Jenkins, Gitlab, ArgoCD, etc.), container deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience with cloud native security, SRE principles, AI Ops, cloud native networking
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with ambiguity, independent development, tight, multi-faceted timelines
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Associate or higher AWS/GCP/Azure cloud certifications are preferred

Work-At-Home Requirements
- WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
- A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
- Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
- A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
