The Job Details:
Effectively train USCS employees in person or virtually on all topics deemed essential.
Conducts a learning needs analysis through surveys, interviews or consultations with VPs, facility managers, Supervisors, HR, Safety Groups, or employees.
Develops a training standard or program for both company wide and regional initiatives for all employee levels.
Design, develop, produce and effectively roll-out training manuals, online learning, presentations, and course materials.
Build training programs that are creative, thoughtful, and fun that provide growth and development opportunities for employees.
Assist with establishing USCS Learning platform and training for the platform.
Deliver training at all levels using a variety of instructional techniques. Segmenting learning, blended learning, etc.
Deliver training at all levels using a variety of instructional techniques, such as segmented learning, blended learning, etc. Understand the trainings needed for all locations to comply with USCS policy as well as local, state, and federal laws
Monitor and evaluate training programs to ensure they are current, effective, and in compliance
Train those on-sight so they can train others.
Re-Develops/Re-Evaluate program objectives, goals, and trainings
Develop "next-steps" for those who complete training programs.
Review training materials from a variety of vendors and choose appropriate materials.
Select and assign instructors or vendors to conduct training.
Assembles teachers, presentations, and training materials for programs.
Assist with USCS university and other local programs.
Develop, manage, and assess mentorship and leadership programs.
Perform administrative tasks such as monitoring costs, budgeting, and scheduling,
Review and book all vendors needed for large events. Hotel Rooms, Meeting Rooms, Bus Service, and/or Team Building activities.
Set up meeting rooms with equipment, drinks, snacks and order/arrange for meals.
Coordinate, schedule, and track enrollment for employees.
Track employee training data completion and when re-training should occur.
Assign training to employees as needed or when required to re-take by law or company policy.
Provide location support to establish and utilize the relevant learning modules and provide ongoing user support.

Travel Amount: Up to 50% travel required

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
Experience
2+ years of experience in training and development
