User Experience Designer

Collaborates with product design and development teams to integrate principles of usability or user centered design into the product development process. Job Duties: Plans and conducts usability research projects, including working sessions, walkthroughs, surveys, interviews, or focus groups. Creates wireframes, prototypes, or user flows for use in testing or as references for the product management/development teams. Collects data and develops user profiles or personas meant to describe the target user and define their needs; translates findings into design requirements or functional specifications. Experience and Education: Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter. May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group. Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 3 to 6 years of experience.
